Tom and Linda Lambert are originally from the upstate New York area. After working in the hospitality business for 30+ years, they decided it was time for an adventure. And an adventure it turned out to be. In 2000 Tom entered the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, graduating at the top of his class with honors. He received a BPS in Culinary Arts. Linda also attended the Culinary Institute of America for Baking and Pastry Studies. In 2004 Tom was accepted at the Istituto Superiore di Gastronomia for Master Chefs in Jesi, Italy - a school associated with Slow Food International.
In 2006 Tom and Linda moved to Ohio to be near family and start Bella Cuisine, a small kitchen to teach culinary skills and share their love of people, food and travel.
Come visit and enjoy a cooking class, tour the gardens, or relax with a family gathering in the orchard pergola.
New in 2018 is IL Forno. We expanded the patio area and added a wood burning oven and grill. During the Summer months, classes move there after prep in the kitchen. Weather permitting.
In between classes, they often cater for local business, social clubs and weddings. They create personalized menus to fit the unique requirements of their clients. Please contact us for a private planning meeting.
During the growing season there are large gardens and an orchard to be maintained on the small farmette. Plus Bella Cuisine shows up at many of the local Farmer's Markets selling handcrafted artisan breads, jams, pastries, and baked goods..
Buon Appetito !
